Quakertown Community School District is excited to offer in-person summer camps again for the 2022 summer. As with years past, we will be offering two types of camps - academic and enrichment.
Most camps will be held in person for three weeks, from Monday to Thursday, July 11th - 28th at Neidig Elementary, except our Cooking and Baking camps which will be held at the high school. Additionally, the Summer Music Camp will run on a different schedule and be held at Strayer - see below for more details.
Academic camps are invitation-only for elementary students in need of additional support in areas of literacy or math, students demonstrating need after a year of kindergarten, or students in our English Language Learning program. The academic camps come at no cost to our families, and transportation (if needed) can be provided to invited students. Teachers and district staff will review a wide variety of data for each student, and should a student be determined as in need of additional support, a letter will be sent home with that information and next steps.
Enrichment camps are open to students, as residents or non-residents of QCSD, in grades rising grades K-10, and they are a fee-based camp for one week at a time on a variety of subjects and offerings. Please review our 2022 Summer Camp Catalog for details about this summer's offerings, as well as the weeks each camp will be available. Students in grades K-10 may choose from STEM with Legos, Coding & Robotics, Cooking and Baking, or Art camps.
Further information about each enrichment camp, the times and locations, and the counselor can be found in our Summer Camp Catalog. After signing up, refunds are available until June 1st. If you have any questions about the summer camp offerings or about registering, please reach out to the Summer Camp Coordinator, Rachel Girman, at [email protected]
Looking forward to seeing you this summer again!
