Class of 1938
These folks went to QCHS a very long time ago!
QCHS alumnus Ken Gerhart reported on the QCHS Class of 1938 after it held its 75th Class Reunion luncheon on August 7, 2013, at Brick Tavern. Eleven classmates and their guests attended.
Of the 102 graduates from the Class of 1938 (the first class roster to break the century mark), 35 are still on the current mailing roster. Sixteen classmates have a Quakertown address, 29 reside in Pennsylvania and 6 live out of state, 1 each in Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Tennessee, Arizona, and California. Contact has been lost with 8 class members and 59 have passed away.
The Class of 1938 has the outstanding distinction of being the first class to celebrate reunions for 75 years.
Those attending were: Ken Gerhart, Evelyn Ortt Smoll, Arlington Shup, Franklin Levy, Catherine Skees Springer, Pauline Kulik Frable, Pauline Hedrick Souder, Pauline Bortz Mucha, Frances Myers Hagenbuch, Chrystal Scheetz Schaffer, Grace Sorver Hessler
Though we have persevered through the years, we have lost track of several classmates.
