Cheerleaders for the Quakertown Midget Football Association finished second at the 2017 Pop Warner Championships in Disney World last week.
The girls, ages 10-13, went in as underdogs and came away with a great experience and a huge trophy.

"We as coaches could not be prouder of these girls, the hard work and dedication has all paid off," said Emily George, one of the team's coaches. "We are so happy to go out this season with a bang. We will miss them all so much, as we've seen most of them grow since kindergarten. We are confident they will be doing wonderful things!"
Jennifer Joyce of Fox29 News, laughing with the girls in the photo, visited the Sixth Grade Center on Dec. 14 to see the impressive youngsters perform.
The girls attend the Sixth Grade Center, Strayer Middle School, Tohickon Valley Elementary, St. Isidore's and Faith Christian.
The team is made up of Alexis Austin, Kaitlin Calvello, Isabella Camp, Layla Cotter, Ava DeFalco, Nicole Dudek, Ella George, Mia Handschumacher, Madison Huber, Katelyn Jones, Avery Leonard, Alaija McDowell, Ashlyn Soltysiak.
