Wall of Fame

The Quakertown Community High School Wall of Fame honors and respects individual graduates who have brought lasting fame to QCHS as a result of their post-secondary accomplishments.

To be eligible for the QCHS Wall of Fame, a nominee must meet these criteria:

  • Be a graduate of Quakertown High School or Quakertown Community High School;
  • Have graduated at least 10 years previously;
  • Have demonstrated exceptional career achievement and/or contributed significantly to the welfare of the Quakertown community and beyond;
  • Not be a previous recipient of the Gold Key Award;
  • Individual alumni may not nominate themselves;
  • There shall be a maximum of three recipients per year.

The credentials of a candidate shall be submitted on the nomination form to the QCHS Principal. Individual alumni selected shall be recognized at the annual meeting of the Quakertown High School Alumni Association. As inclusion on the Wall of Fame replaces the Gold Key Award of the Alumni Association one section of the Wall of Fame shall be reserved for Gold Key recipients.

From 1944 to 2015, more than 50 recipients received the Gold Key Award. Since then, the Wall of Fame has been created.
