Bucks County Children & Youth

The Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services Agency is responsible under Pennsylvania Public Law to receive and investigate reports of child abuse and neglect, provide for the temporary care of children not able to remain with their own families, and develop community-wide social service programs that promote family stability. The Agency endeavors to be responsive to the changing health and welfare needs of all families by encouraging the development of programs that reduce dependency and strengthen family life

Valley Youth House

The mission of Valley Youth House is to provide prevention and intervention services, counseling, life skills, and behavioral health services to abused neglected, and homeless youth and their families. Their programs foster positive growth enabling at-risk youth and their families to become healthy, productive, responsible members of the community.

The Synergy Project

The Bucks County Street Outreach Program, locally and nationally known as the SYNERGY PROJECT, serves runaway, homeless, and street youth between ages 12 and 21. The Street Outreach Team travels throughout the county connecting youth with the help they need. Youth receive access to emergency shelter, survival aid, counseling, referrals for specialized services, crisis intervention, and education and employment assistance.

For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation's largest donor and volunteer-supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers ("Bigs") and children ("Littles"), ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country.
